My rifle, weighs only 8-1/4 pounds. It is .45 caliber with 13/16” x 36” swamped barrels. The design has several unique features. One is that you can remove each barrel, in about 30 seconds for cleaning, without disassembling the rest of the gun. Then you can remount the barrel tight as new. This and several other features make this flint swivel breech a pure joy to own.
